In this Episode I am creating a mixed media assemblage sculpture from vintage materials. Inspired by cars from the 1930ties, especially the hotrod or ratrod versions of the ‘32 Ford roadster. It’s a little hommage to ratty old cars, much cooler than most modern cars. A celebration of my love for all things old, for mechanical things, for screwed in stead of glued, for repairability. For getting your hands dirty, for diagnosing a problem by listening to an engine and maybe most of all a tribute to old design.
